Arsenal were staring at a first defeat of this season's Champions League at Bayer Leverkusen until a late penalty.

Arsenal came from behind to draw 1-1 against Bayer Leverkusen in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie. Leverkusen captain Robert Andrich headed his team in front from a corner early in the second half after a tightly contested first 45 minutes.
